Tower of Eternal Life
One of the highlights of my visit to Pyongyang was visiting several cold noodle or raengmyŏn restaurants (not the one in this image as this is for locals). Raengmyon is a Korean noodle dish of long and thin handmade noodles and is served in a large brass or stainless-steel bowl with a tangy iced broth.Many of the apartment blocks, such as this one, featured restaurants and shops for locals on the ground floor with the signage only displaying the item sold inside rather then a name.
