Fake flowers on fireI developed and photographed this series during the first stages of lockdown in 2020. At that time shops where still open so I was able to source the flowers. I set up a small outdoor studio in my backyard on a still sunny day and spent the afternoon battling the fumes and produced images of my favourite flowers and effects of lighting them on fire.
